Frequent Ask Questions
After scheduling your procedure, our team will contact you to arrange a virtual medical consultation. During this consultation, we will review your medical history, discuss your overall health, and develop an anesthesia plan tailored to your needs. We will also provide detailed pre- and post-anesthesia instructions and answer any questions you may have.
On the day of your procedure, we will meet you in person at the dental office. After a brief pre-procedural evaluation and explanation of the anesthesia process, we will place a small IV (intravenous line). When you are ready, anesthesia medications will be administered through the IV.
The depth of anesthesia will be carefully adjusted throughout the procedure according to your anesthesia plan—whether IV sedation or general anesthesia—with the primary goal of ensuring your comfort and safety. A physician anesthesiologist will remain with you the entire time, continuously monitoring you and making adjustments as needed.
Once the procedure is completed, you will gradually wake up from anesthesia. When you are fully recovered and ready to go home, we will review all post-procedure instructions with you and your escort so that you can return home safely and rest.
Yes. Office-based dental anesthesia is very safe when administered by trained professionals. Our team specializes in dental anesthesia, and your safety is our highest priority. We carefully evaluate your medical history, monitor you continuously during the procedure, and use proven anesthesia techniques to ensure your comfort and well-being throughout your treatment.
The cost of anesthesia for your dental procedure depends on the type of anesthesia required and the duration of the procedure. You will be provided with a clear estimate prior to your procedure so you know what to expect.
We do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your individual coverage.
No. We are a fully equipped mobile ambulatory anesthesia team. We bring all necessary medications, monitoring devices, and anesthesia equipment with us. Our goal is to provide safe, hospital-level anesthesia care while allowing your procedure to take place conveniently in your dental office.
We will contact the patient directly to obtain their medical history and relevant health information. Based on this information, our physician anesthesiologist will carefully evaluate whether the patient is an appropriate candidate for anesthesia in the dental office setting. Our goal is always to ensure the highest level of safety and proper patient selection before proceeding.
With our team, patient safety is the highest priority. We have the expertise, equipment, and technology necessary to provide the same high standard of anesthesia care you would expect in a surgery center, all within the dental office setting.
Our anesthesiologists are highly experienced in office-based anesthesia and continuously monitor patients throughout the procedure. Over more than eight years of practice, we have maintained an excellent safety record.
Anesthesia is provided and managed entirely by our board-certified anesthesiologists, who carry professional malpractice coverage of $1 million / $3 million. From the moment we assume care of the patient until the patient is safely discharged, we are fully responsible for the administration and monitoring of anesthesia and the patient’s well-being.
Our fees are transparent and competitive. The cost depends on the type of anesthesia and the expected duration of the procedure. We will provide a clear quote in advance, so there are no surprises for you or your patients.
